The Arilit Methodology
Our methodology is very simple, we have created what we call the 3S model comprised of logical building blocks which can be used to design the ideal energy system for any project.
- Source – where the energy comes from, in our case renewable and can be solar, wind, hydro, geothermal etc.
- Storage – renewable energy is generally stored in some sort of battery bank, usually lead-acid or lithium based
- Supply – energy, either direct, stored or both needs to be supplied as usable power via some sort of inverter or rectifier
Our energy systems are composed of different combinations of these three building blocks and are completely scalable, meaning you can start with a very modest setup and scale it up over time as your budget permits.
The Arilit S1 System
Our S1 systems do not have any form of energy storage and are not required to supply power throughout the day. They are usually comprised of a renewable source (solar, wind etc.) and a micro supply device or charge controller to cost-effectively solve problems such as charging existing power storage banks, reducing high energy bills, remote irrigation systems, water supply etc. or can be deployed on a larger scale as renewable energy power grids!
For homes and businesses that already have a battery bank and inverter installed, our S1 system is the perfect compliment to keep the battery bank charged and ready at all times irrespective of the availability of grid power.
The Arilit S2 System
Primarily used as energy backup systems our S2 systems do not have any form of renewable energy source and rely on either grid power or fossil fuel generators to store energy in the battery banks. Many homes and businesses across Nigeria already have such backup systems in place due to the frequent power cuts however these systems aren’t always properly specked and don’t always live up to their full potential. As Arilit systems are fully scalable, for customers with budgetary constraints we usually recommend starting up with the S2 system and then scaling up to S3 over time.
The Arilit S3 System
This is the apex of renewable energy utilisation and includes all the three blocks; source, storage & supply. Our S3 systems can effectively supplement backup generators or eliminate them entirely! Being a combination of both the S1 & S2 systems, the S3 system enables our customers to unlock the full potential of renewable energy and harness its power thereby achieving energy freedom!
